Core Web Vitals: Why Speed Is Revenue

Core Web Vitals measure how fast and stable a page feels to a real user. They are a ranking factor — but more importantly, they are a revenue factor: every second of delay measurably reduces conversions and trust.

The three metrics

Largest Contentful Paint (loading), Interaction to Next Paint (responsiveness), and Cumulative Layout Shift (visual stability). Google holds the bar at LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, and CLS under 0.1.

How elite sites hit 100

Edge delivery, image and font discipline, animating only transform and opacity, and shipping minimal JavaScript. Templates and page builders almost never clear the bar; engineered front-ends do.
